Format drives the system

A conference needs clear speech: right mics, even coverage and controlled level. A gala adds musical ambiance and transitions. A concert needs power, coverage and experienced operation.

Starting from format avoids renting an oversized (uncomfortable) or undersized (inaudible) system.

Capacity, coverage and speaker placement

Capacity and room geometry drive speaker count and placement. The goal is even coverage without dead zones or harsh hotspots.

In long or L-shaped rooms, fills are often required.

Venue acoustics: hall, tent, outdoor

Reverberant rooms, tents or open air change sizing completely. A site visit or detailed venue brief prevents surprises.
